the BMD:
BMD club has the pride of conducting the ball badmiton tounament for more than 50 years in India. it's a dream of every ball badmiton player to play in the BMD tournament and win.
Parangipettai has produced many ball badmiton players. many players got employed in the railways and the banks because of their playing skills.
ball badmiton is in the blood of the parangipetaiyans. even small boys can rally the ball for long time even if they are holding the raquet for the first time.
but it's been long since the parangipettai team won the cup, hope they do so soon
the Beaches:
no need to mention of the clean beaches and the prestine water.
Mosques:
see pictures below. parangipettai has got 11 mosques at present and jummua prayers are held at 2 of them.
Dargahs:
will paste interesting pics of them soon.

Youth:
ask the collector of cuddalore district about the youth of parangipettai. he will be all praise about them. yes, they didn't leave any work for the collector during the tsunami.
